Environmental awareness spans the academic and administrative spectrum. But, as the stories in this issue of Michigan Tech Magazine clearly illustrate, sustainability is at the very heart of our entire University.
But the question has more global implications: What impact can Michigan Tech make on sustaining our environment and our quality of life? I admit to a long history of interest in this topic, coming as I do from a forestry background.
